Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is located in the neighboring city of Orlando. With daily flights from all over the world, it is the largest commercial airport in the area and an easy commute to and from Winter Park.

Directions From Orlando International Airport(MCO)

Take SR 436 /Semoran Boulevard north, toward Orlando.  Travel 10.6 miles and turn left onto Aloma Avenue/ SR 426.  Travel on Aloma for 2.6 miles.  Aloma becomes Osceola Avenue and then Fairbanks Avenue as you navigate a few turns in the road.  Turn right on Park Avenue. Estimated travel time: 20-30 minutes

Orlando Executive Airport

Orlando Executive Airport caters to corporate travelers. This airport offers complimentary shuttle service for the short 10 minute drive to and from Winter Park.

Drive West on Colonial Drive/ SR 50 to Mills Avenue/ SR 17-92 and turn right.  Travel 3 miles north to Orange Avenue and take another right.  Park Avenue is a short 2 miles on your left.

Orlando Sanford International Airport

For more leisurely flyers, Orlando Sanford International Airport is located about 15 miles north of Park Avenue.

Take Central Florida Greenway/SR 417, via the ramp on the left toward Orlando. There will be a toll.  Travel for 10.6 miles.  Take Exit 38, SR 426/ Aloma Avenue.  Drive west on Aloma Avenue for 5.8 miles.  Aloma becomes Osceola Avenue and then Fairbanks Avenue as you navigate a few turns in the road.  Turn right on Park Avenue.

Estimated travel time:30-40 minutes.

Amtrak

The Amtrak station is located one block from Park Avenue. Use the Auto Train, Silver Meteor, or the Silver Star route to arrive at Park Avenue from other major cities in Florida or any stop along the East coast between New York and the Winter Park station.

SunRail

Central Florida’s commuter rail system began passenger service in Spring 2014. The 32-mile first phase of SunRail services 12 stations, linking DeBary to Orlando with a stop in Central Park along Park Avenue. SunRail trains run Monday-Friday only with morning, mid-day and evening train schedules.

From I-4 Eastbound/Daytona Beach

From Cocoa Beach/I-95 Northbound/the Beachline

Merge onto I-95 North toward Jacksonville. Take the FL-528 West exit, Exit 205AB toward Orlando. Merge onto FL-528 West/Martin Anderson Beachline Expressway via Exit 205B toward Orlando. This is a portions toll road. Merge onto FL-417 North towards Central Florida Greenway North via Exit 16 towards Orlando/Sanford. This is also a portions toll road. Take the FL-50/ East Colonial Drive Exit 34. Turn left onto Colonial Drive. Turn right onto Goldenrod Road. Turn left onto University Boulevard. Turn right onto North Semoran Boulevard/ FL-426. Turn left onto Aloma Avenue/ FL-426. Continue to follow FL-426. Turn right onto Park Avenue. Visit the parking tab to learn more about vehicle parking prices and locations. LYNX

LYNX is a transportation system that services Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties with limited service to Lake, Volusia and Polk county. LYNX bus stops are located near Park Avenue along New York Avenue, Denning Drive, Webster Avenue, Aloma Avenue and in various Winter Park areas. If you are looking for a short, hands free ride, a $2.00 fare will get you to your destination within Winter Park or other outlying areas.

Fast-Link 17-92

Fastlink 17-92 is a speedy shuttle service with limited stops. This route travels along 17-92 between Seminole Center and LYNX Central Station in Downtown Orlando. The designated stops are: Florida Hospital, Webster Avenue and Denning Drive, Fernwood Boulevard at the intersection of Oxford Road and U.S. 17-92 at the intersection of S.R. 434. This route does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

  • Free 4-hour parking is available in municipal parking lots within one block of Park Avenue.
  • North Park Avenue garage offers complimentary parking on 4th & 5th floors only (4-hour parking).
  • South Park Avenue garage (SunTrust Building) offers paid parking by the hour.

Valet Parking Options:

  • Complimentary valet available at New England & Park avenues.
